Sad Farewell to Leah from P2/3


Today the whole school said a very sad farewell to Leah who is moving to Australia to start a new life there. All the staff and pupils wish Leah, Jorja and her parents the very best as they begin their new life in Australia together. Leah left today with email addresses and is a pro at video-conferencing so I'm sure we'll be hearing from her again very soon.

    Leah here. Arrived safely in Australia. Missing you all already. We have a new house with a swimming pool and we have already been to the beach. Hope you are all well and I will speak to you again very soon.

    Glad you have arrived safely. The boys and girls in Primary 2/3 miss you and are very excited that you have a swimming pool in your house.

    We now have moved into our new house and have internet access and a webcam. So if you wish and we can tie up a time, we will try to speak to you all soon. We have installed Skype and our name is my mum's janineturner, so if we can do this, I would love to speak to you allXXXXXX

    Hi Leah, Lovely to hear from you again. We have asked about Skype to meet with our Polish school too however we're not allowed to have it in school we've since discovered. We have sent a message to the Council asking what other ways we can video-conference with our friends outwith Scotland and we're waiting to hear back. As soon as we do I'll let you know.
